A narcotics investigation spanning several months led Dallas police to seize large quantities of drugs, firearms and cash, resulting in the arrest of three suspects, authorities said.

According to the Dallas Police Department, the investigation began in the 4900 block of East Side Avenue. In March 2025, detectives connected that location to two others: one in the 4900 block of Terry Street and another in the 8500 block of Park Lane.

Investigators believed all three sites were being used to store and sell illegal drugs, police said.

Search warrants were executed at the Terry Street and Park Lane locations, resulting in the seizure of multiple firearms, narcotics, and drug paraphernalia, according to police.

“At both locations, our officers recovered dangerous drugs and weapons that posed a real threat to the community,” said a Dallas police spokesperson in a statement. “This was the result of meticulous investigative work and coordination.”

The seizures included five firearms, 408.9 grams of cocaine, 263.8 grams of methamphetamine, 21.6 grams of fentanyl, 5.8 grams of oxycodone, 1.65 grams of heroin, 43.8 grams of marijuana, and $7,171 in cash, police said.

Three individuals were arrested in connection with the investigation. Christopher Springfield, 32, faces four counts of first-degree felony manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance and one count of second-degree felony manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance. Saray Portillo, 31, was charged with one count of third-degree felony tampering with evidence. Jamie Solorzano, 40, was charged with two counts of third-degree felony manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance.

Police said the investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges may be filed.

“We are committed to keeping these harmful substances off our streets,” the spokesperson said. “This operation represents another step in making Dallas a safer place for all residents.”
